Description:
In this classroom exercise, small groups of students work with world maps showing data relevant to locating plate boundaries and understanding plate boundary processes. They identify the nature of data near plate boundaries, classify the boundaries based on their observations, and mark their maps according to guidelines provided. They make presentations to the class and participate in a whole class discussion.
